While some combinations like Cashews and honey or that of milk and honey are considered to be very beneficial, combining certain food items together may be harmful.
Unhealthy combinations of food with milk
Considering we need to be careful about what we eat to maintain good health, some combinations of food with milk in the same meal are not advisable. Some food items like Lemons and tamarind have citric acid and vitamin C which is not suited for consumption with milk. Similarly, the consistency of black gram, oil, raw salads and radishes combined with milk may make you feel boated and gastric after the meal. Also, Yogurt and coconut should not be mixed with milk, for it causes indigestion and heaviness of the stomach. Considering pomegranates are not good for upset stomachs, consuming it with milk may cause acidity and elevate stomach pain.
