- Reduce consumption of carbohydrates. Since the state of ketosis is achieved when the body is denied carbohydrates, it makes sense that reducing – or better yet, completely eliminating – carbohydrates will help you reach that state more quickly.
- Increase your intake of healthy fats. Healthy fats are a crucial part of creating ketones and ketosis. As such, it’s important to eat a diet that is rich in healthy fats, such as nuts, coconut oil, avocados, etc.
